So where were we? Oh, ya...last we left off was the Team had just returned from Japan. If you haven't seen that update yet, scroll down and catch up! Cody Howard and Mike Fisher just returned and three days later, still suffering from jet-lag, they hopped in the truck and raced out west. The report on the drive was that Cherry Lake was almost on fire and that the creek was running. Timing it right is everything now-a-days on Upper Cherry, since the crowd factor can get high. By shear luck, a crew of four was formed, along with friends' group from SacTown. The crew enjoyed a 2 day trip down the empty moonscape paradise. Barely slowing down enough to take any video or pictures, the team fired up every drop in there and came out smiling as expected. The YGP locals shot over some solid beta and the next epic was set in motion. Stay tuned....

The day after the crew got off of UCC, they set the shuttle for one of the most notorious, gorged-out runs in North America. Devil's Postpile. Many trips are memorable, but few leave such a lasting impact as the Devil's Postpile. Cody Howard has submitted the story and Kevin Smith contributed some amazing photos. Click Here to read the story. A couple of clips from our footage have been showcased to compliment this update. Enjoy the video, story and photos! Video. Clips from inside The Crucible.

Huckin Huge Films has moved operations to the Pacific Northwest. HH from here will explore the massive amount whitewater options and new ones to come. We are all very excited to be in this land of falls, slides, rain and forest. Cody Howard moved all the goods to Bellingham, WA and headed down to fire up "The Everest of Oregon Kayaking" - The Salmon River Gorge. Paul Gamache and Cody completed the sixth and "Lucky # 7th" descent of Final Falls. Boofing out the entire drop and stomping it out was a hair raising experience for all who were there. Thanks to Ben Hawthorne of WestCoastCreeking.com for the photos.

Kawa no Nihon....or "Rivers of Japan". This video is produced by Sean Kinsella of Ireland. While Huckin Huge Films was in Japan shooting, Sean was able to break away from canyoneering guiding and got to boat with us on a couple of runs. This is the video he shot while on some of the missions. It's also good teaser of whats to come out of that country! Thanks to Sean for hospitality and motivation out there!
